Lincolnshire Art Festival is this weekend

The 15th annual Lincolnshire Art Festival will kick off Saturday and continue through Sunday.

Set in the Village Green shopping center on Milwaukee Avenue, the festival will feature the works of 120 artists. It will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Paintings, jewelry, sculptures and photography are among the types of art that will be on display and for sale.

An art scavenger hunt is planned for kids.

Food and drinks will be for sale from vendors, including Gelato Italiano, Maui Wowi, Taste of Chicago Prime and Smalls Sweets & Treats.

Musical acts Cirrus Falcon and Don Thomas will perform throughout the weekend.

Sponsors include Blick Art Materials, Dyson, the Home Improvement Network and Renewal by Anderson.

The event is organized by Amdur Productions, a company that puts on similar fests across the Chicago area and beyond. Its other festivals include exhibitions in Barrington, Highland Park, Arlington Heights and Buffalo Grove.
