Mt. Prospect holds entrepreneurship meeting

Potential and existing businesses in Mount Prospect are invited to a Business Roundtable Discussion to share experiences and build their professional networks 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16 at Mia’s Cantina Mexican Grill and Tequila Bar, 143 W. Prospect Ave.

Mount Prospect resident Esteban Aguado, the owner of Mia’s Cantina, began participating in Mount Prospect’s Entrepreneur’s Cafe earlier this year and has said the experience led him to open his business in Mount Prospect. He will tell the first “Entrepreneur’s Cafe” success story while offering appetizers so attendees can sample his food. There will be a cash bar.

The Entrepreneurs Café and Roundtable meetings and are part of Mount Prospect’s Incubator Program which is designed to encourage and educate local residents to open a business in Mount Prospect. The program is a collaboration between the Village of Mount Prospect, Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce, Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association and Mount Prospect Public Library.
