No one’s forced to eat at Chick-fil-A

My understanding of this entire mess is that Mr. Cathy of Chick-fil-A said he believes same-sex marriage is wrong according to the Bible. He did not say that he does not like gay and lesbian people. He will serve them the same as he does everybody else. It does not matter if you have one head, two heads or no head, or if you are pink, yellow, purple, black, white or something in between. You may be short, tall, thin, fat, male, female, old, young, adult, child or any other label.

Hetero folks may not attend the gay/lesbian parade, but we do not get up in arms over the fact that the city encourages the parade, having the mayor and the governor participate. Is there a double standard here? Chick-fil-A is a public dining restaurant that is family-owned, as are many other restaurants. If you want to eat there, do so. If you don’t want to eat there, no one is forcing you to eat there. Get over it folks.
