Have breakfast with the Gurnee police:

Gurnee’s Fraternal Order of Police Social Lodge No. 266 will host the third annual breakfast in conjunction with Gurnee Days festival, on Sunday, Aug. 12. It’ll run from 8 a.m. to noon at the Viking Park Dance Hall, 4374 Old Grand Ave. Tickets for the pancake and sausage breakfast are available at the door at a cost of $6, $5 for seniors 55 and older and children 6 years and under are free. There will also be a drawing for a door prize. The winner need not be present to win. Carryout meals will be available. The Gurnee FOP Social Lodge is a charitable organization made up of the men and women of the Gurnee Police Department who are dedicated to serving those in need within the community. One of the local recipients for the FOP fundraisers is the Lake County Children’s Advocacy Center. The advocacy center is committed to providing a safe environment for children who are victims of abuse. For more information, check GurneeFOP266.net.
