Obama’s contempt for American Dream

Obama claims that his “You didn’t build that” remark has been taken out of context, because he was referring to government roads and bridges; but the context is even worse than the quote.

Obama’s point is that collective action rather than individual talent and initiative is the determining factor in success.

When the President scolds, “There are a lot of smart people, there are a lot of people who work hard,” he reveals his contempt for the American Dream, because there are a lot of countries with roads and bridges, yet millions of people flee those countries to seek opportunity in America, and even Obama should know that they don’t come here for our roads and bridges.
