Body found in Des Plaines parking lot

Authorities are investigating the cause of death of a 47-year-old man whose body was found in the back seat of a car in the parking lot of a Des Plaines hotel.

Des Plaines Police identified the man as Wesley Jaworski, whose last known address is in the 8900 block of Knight in unincorporated Des Plaines. His body was found in the back seat of a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Touhy Avenue, police said

Authorities don't suspect foul play.

Police were notified of the body Saturday morning by Des Plaines 6th Ward Alderman Mark Walsten, who received an anonymous tip about the vehicle being parked at the hotel for three days.

The Cook County medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy Sunday.
