Lisle man charged with soliciting preteens in park

A Lisle man is accused of approaching two 12-year-old girls in a local park and offering them money for sex, police said Friday.

Jorge Castillo, 42, faces misdemeanor charges of solicitation of a sex act and disorderly conduct following the incident Thursday at Beau Bien Park on Old Tavern Road.

Police said Castillo approached the victims as they walked through the park together about 8 p.m. One of the girls called police and reported that a man had been staring at them and soliciting them for sex.

The victims identified Castillo, who was still in the park, when officers arrived a short time later, Lisle Watch Cmdr. Ron Wilke said.

Castillo, of the 4400 block of Black Partridge Lane, was booked and released on a signature bond with an upcoming court date of Sept. 4.
