‘Radicalized Republicans’ a threat to America

Have you noticed how Republican propaganda is always based on fear and hate — of immigrants, gays, lesbian, gun control, labor unions, Muslims and abortion? The message is delivered by a wannabe TV news service that conveniently omits accurate facts in favor of half-truths, as well as syndicated commentators who are paid rock-star wages and must deliver fear and hate daily or face unemployment.

Here’s one example. The president made a public appearance that coincided with the loss of 11 of our service personal in Afghanistan. So the Republican propaganda machine decided to discredit the president because he didn’t show enough remorse. The first I heard the “not enough remorse to lead” fantasy was when a radicalized Republican called the WGN Radio John Williams Show. Then another radicalized Republican’s letter appeared on your Opinion page.

We lose military personnel daily to accident, sickness, combat and suicide.

The Republican propaganda machine wants us to believe a person’s ability to lead is determined by how high one registers on the Republican Remorse Meter. Makes one wonder how high John Boehner, who tears up at the drop of a hat, registered on the Remorse Meter the day we lost our 11 service personnel.

What should scare the rest of us is the radicalized Republicans, whose sole source of information is the Republican propaganda machine, you can pick them out of the paper, who actually believe remorse has anything to do with leadership — Boehner’s or the president’s.

The radicalized Republicans use what’s called “Echo Chamber News.” They hear what they want to hear ... they’re controlled by a small group of people. That makes them a great threat to this country.
