Walsh’s best isn’t good enough

I wanted to say a special thank-you to Congressman Joe Walsh, who has been getting some bad press lately. Thank you, Joe, for doing your best to make sure that millions of Americans stay unemployed. Thank you, Joe, for doing your best to make sure our highways, bridges and other parts of our infrastructure continue to crumble. Thank you, Joe, for working to make our deficit worse by making sure that millions continue to need to rely on unemployment checks and food stamps to survive.

Thank you, Joe, for doing your best to prevent people with pre-existing conditions from getting health insurance. Thank you, Joe, for doing your best to increase drug costs for our senior citizens. Thank you, Joe, for doing your best to reduce medical care for our children. Thank you, Joe, for doing your best to make sure we don’t have enough teachers, firefighters and police officers to educate us and keep us safe. Thank you, Joe, for doing your best to prove that government is bad by making sure that the government doesn’t have enough money to provide needed services, like fighting forest fires.

Thank you, Joe, for doing your best to make sure that the top 1 percent pay less in taxes than many hardworking Americans. And finally, thank you Joe, for being the poster child of everything today’s Republican Party represents.
