2011 Elk Grove Tour nominated for award

SportsTravel magazine has announced that the 2011 Alexian Brothers Tour of Elk Grove has been nominated for a 2012 SportsTravel Award, based on superior organization and good attendance, as well as it being a quality experience for the competitors and spectators. Final balloting is open through Aug. 15 and winners will be announced at the TEAMS ‘12 Conference & Expo, Oct. 1-4 in Detroit. “Since the location of the event is a major part of the criteria for being nominated, the people of Elk Grove Village should take great pride in knowing that an event held in their city is being recognized for its excellence,” said Timothy Schneider, publisher of SportsTravel magazine. Official ballots are in the July and August issues of SportsTravel magazine or at www.SportsTravelMagazine.com. The 2012 Tour of Elk Grove will be held Aug. 3-5.
