New Administrator Appointed at Briarwood, Friendship Village's Skilled Nursing Facility

Schaumburg, IL. Anthony T. Madl has been selected as the new Administrator of the skilled nursing community, Briarwood, located on the Friendship Village campus, according to Stephen A. Yenchek, President and CEO of Friendship Senior Options.

"We are looking forward to Tony's leadership promoting our traditions of high quality resident-centered care. He will work with the team to introduce enhanced clinical services, new technologies and collaborate with area health care providers," said Yenchek.

Mr. Madl is an experienced administrator who has extensive experience in skilled nursing that spans nearly a dozen years, most recently with Resurrection Health Care, Senior Services.

"I'm excited about the opportunity to work with this outstanding organization and the many fine physicians who serve the residents of Friendship Village," said Madl. "Our new management team will be launching innovative cardiovascular and pulmonary programs, setting new Care Pathways for residents and creating environments that meet the current and future market demands."

Madl is an active member of his Elk Grove community and coaches sports for his three children. He received his Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management, his Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University and his Administrator's license from the State of Illinois in 2001.

Briarwood is a 248-bed skilled nursing facility at Friendship Village of Schaumburg, 350 West Schaumburg Road. Friendship Village is Illinois' largest continuing care retirement community and has been the recipient of the prestigious CARF accreditation for over 20 years.
