Wingfest for charity in Schaumburg Sunday

The Woodfield Area Children's Organization, which benefits children from low-income families, will hold its annual Wingfest from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 29 at Drink, 871 E. Algonquin Road in Schaumburg.

The $25 admission covers two drinks and all the wings you can eat. Attendees must be at least 21.

Participating restaurants include Clementi's, Dover Straits, Hooters, Rosati's, Moretti's, Finn McCool's, Pop's Pizza Sports Bar, Sponge Reef and Frato's. Music will be provided by Harry Gardner with Buzz Krantz. New this year will be a Bags Tournament.

For a $20 entry fee, the winner will take home half the money with the rest going to benefit WACO.
