Barrington’s inaugural Summerfest July 27-28

In conjunction with the annual Barrington Sidewalk Sale Days which runs from July 26 to 28, McGonigal’s Pub is adding to Barrington’s downtown entertainment experience by sponsoring the Barrington Summerfest. This two-day event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday and will feature live music, food, drinks and family fun. Eight live bands and full pub service, local merchants, kids’ activities will occur both days. Barrington Summerfest will be held on the 200 block of Park Avenue, just east of South Cook Street from 4 p.m. until midnight on Friday and from 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturday. Admission is free during the day and all ages are welcome, with a nominal event donation request after 8 p.m. and an accompanying age restriction of 21 after that time.
