Palatine chamber hosts Rockin’ the Blocks

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce will host its first Rockin’ the Blocks event on Saturday, July 28 in the BMO Harris parking lot at the corner of Brockway and Slade streets. Rockin’ the Blocks’ will include live entertainment, food booths, a beer garden and a host of other activities. The event is free and open to the public.

Highlights under the main tent include Smokin Gunz, the headlining country rock band performing from 7:30 until 10:30 p.m., a pig roast by Brothers Ribs, BBQ from Culver’s of Palatine and dessert from Morkes Chocolates.

Lead sponsors for ‘Rockin’ the Block’ are BMO Harris Bank and Weber-Stephen Products, LLC. Other sponsors include Northrop Grumman, Lamplighter Inn and Palatine Bank & Trust.
