Hoffman Estates public hearing on video gambling
A public hearing related to video gambling will take place during the Hoffman Estates Planning and Zoning Commission meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18.
The commission will consider a text amendment to the village zoning code regarding amusement devices. The text amendment is needed to differentiate traditional devices in the village from state-licensed video gaming terminals, clarifying that video gaming terminals are not considered amusement devices.
The meeting will be held in the Helen Wozniak Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 1900 Hassell Road.
