Great job by ComEd during storm
My friends and I want to express our huge gratitude to the steadfast workers from ComEd and the tree companies who have toiled without stopping in this terrible heat to restore power to the north side of Wheaton.
We were devastated by the storm on July 1 and reduced to what looked like a war zone with trees/wires down, trees on houses, across streets and everywhere. The powerful swath of destruction went from West Chicago east to Elmhurst and beyond.
While we are issuing kudos to these summer heroes, let us also shower praise on the firefighters out west who risk their lives every day and without health insurance. Thank you.
