Law should allow audio recording for safety

I live in Meadow Green Townhomes in Round Lake Beach and changing the audio recording law In Illinois would improve living here. Recently, I was threatened by a male here and I’m sure nothing happened in part because it’s my word against his.

People complain the police never do anything, I’m sure if there where recording, some things would never even happen in here. A couple of years ago, I was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct here, partly I’m sure because of false accusations. I’ve installed video surveillance cameras in the front and back of my unit and that has helped some. If the politicians and police weren’t so afraid of what they might be caught saying, everybody’s life would be better.

It would even give some of the video shown on the news a different meaning if there is audio to go with the pictures.
