Hanover Park Park Foundation to hold walk/run July 15
The Hanover Park Park Foundation will host its inaugural 5K Dash N’ Splash at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, July 15.
The 5K race/walk will begin at the Seafari Springs Aquatic Center, 1700 Greenbrook Blvd., Hanover Park, and continue through the Mallard Lake Forest Preserve. Participants receive a one-day admission pass to the water park. Trophies will be awarded to top male and female finishers and medals to the top three finishers in each age category.
Greenbrook, Arlington Drive and Farmington Court will be closed from 6:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. to accommodate the event.
