The good, the bad and the ugly

First, the good. Most Americans want health care reforms such as coverage for pre-existing conditions, no lifetime limits, no cancellation if you get sick, keeping adult children on your policy until age 26 and coverage for preventive services.

The bad and ugly are the rest of the 2,700 pages of the bill.

Let’s get serious. We all know what the government has done for the post office, Social Security, Medicare and everything else they get their hands on. They all are broke or are going broke. Now they want to take over our health care.

It’s the bad and ugly part, the rest of the 2,700 pages, that scare the heck out of us. Most of this won’t take effect until well after the elections, but don’t be misled. This is the bad and ugly part.

God help us all.
