Vote Republican and continue the mess

Have you ever seen anything like the sore loser Republicans, ever? From the 2008 election, when their dynamite McCain-Palin team got the old heave-ho, to the “Obamacare” decision from their own privately owned Supreme Court, they just can’t stop crying.

Now, in addition to their 2008 election strategy, to vote against anything and everything the Democrats support, they’re on their crusade again, “ ... repeal Obamacare; and the heck with the Supreme Court too, just repeal, object, deny: no to Obamacare.”

Actually, it’s logical they take this position, for how can they pay back the industries that put them in Washington if they don’t — industries like utilities, pharmaceuticals, banks, oil companies, and so on? You know, the “job creators.” (Really? Where are the jobs?). They blame it on “uncertainty.” As if people in this economy don’t face uncertainty every day of their life.

But what they will never admit is that they’re against Obamacare because it includes a 1 percent or 1.5 percent increase in tax on “unearned income” on those earning over $250,000. That’s the objection, make no mistake. Don’t believe it? Look it up.

And, if you don’t want the Social Security safety net, if you don’t want affordable health care for your family, if you don’t want an education beyond high school for your kids, if you don’t want clean air, water and national forests, and if you don’t want the right to meet and negotiate any condition of employment (the Republicans prefer the word: servitude); why, go ahead and vote for the Republicans. You know, the ones who swear their allegiance to Grover Norquist instead of to the people who elected them. Reminds me of something that happened in Germany 70 or 80 years ago.
