Rolling Meadows raises funds for events:
The Rolling Meadows Community Events Foundation will hold two fundraisers in the city during July to raise money for future city celebrations. The foundation was formed this year to collect money for events such as the Fourth of July parade, which the city no longer is funding. The first fundraiser will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 13 at Oberweis Ice Cream & Dairy Store, 1735 Algonquin Road. The second will be Thursday, July 26 at Noodles & Company, 1327 Golf Road. Coupons for both events are available at City Hall.
