Cars in Metra lot vandalized:

The windows on five vehicles were deliberately damaged while the cars were in the parking lot of Schaumburg's Metra station on Springinsguth Road this week. Four of the vehicles were vandalized between 11:30 p.m. July 2 and 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 3. The fifth was vandalized between 11 p.m. July 4 and 1 a.m. July 5. Schaumburg police said there has been no pattern of criminal damage to vehicles in the area apart from these two nights.
