Inverness updates resident notification system

The village of Inverness recently updated its resident notification system in cooperation with Northwest Central Dispatch to provide critical information in a timely manner. Residents with traditional landline phones are automatically signed up for the service through the 911 system. Registration is required to receive notifications at work, on a cellphone or by email. When the village issues an emergency message, it will be sent to all registered standard voice and text communication devices. For more information or to register, visit villageofinverness.org.
