Community Concert Band Performs Live at the Lake
The Des Plaines Park District Community Concert Band performed on June 28 at the Lake Park Memorial Pavilion as part of the Live at the Lake free summer entertainment series. The band, a talented collection of over fifty local musicians, played selections from the their wide repertoire of classics, popular hits, marches, patriotic tunes, and movie scores under the direction of Lawrence J. Carle. The band will perform next on Sunday, July 29, at 3:00pm at the Lake Park Memorial Pavilion. Admission is free. For more information call 847-391-5711 or visit www.desplainesparks.org.
