Courtesy toward elders still exists
Teenage and adult courtesy has not died yet. I am 85 years old, and it surprises me how often I get help from someone I do not know, whether it’s getting asked if I need a lift when walking with a grocery bag, or getting help lifting 40-pound bags from a cart to the car trunk, or a mom with young kids helping me to find my car in a big parking lot. It does brighten your day.
