The owners of the 45-pound tortoise missing from Lombard since June 17 are offering a reward for the safe return of their pet, Lance. Susan and Andy Lechner said they will provide a $500 reward to anyone who arranges for Lance's return to their home. The 44-year-old African spurred tortoise went missing June 17 and may have escaped under a fence between the Lechners' yard and an apartment complex. Anyone who has information about Lance's whereabouts can contact Lombard police at (630) 873-4400.
