Gurnee's Warren-Newport Public Library will host a Lunch and Learn program from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 27. The featured guest will be Bob Schwartz, author of "Never Put Ketchup on a Hot Dog". Schwartz, senior vice president of the Vienna Beef Co., will discuss hot dog stands throughout the years, highlighting those in the Chicago area. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch. Visitors will receive hot beverages and dessert. Registration is required at wnpl.info or by calling (847) 244-5150.
