Palatine’s Deer Grove to host Race for the Family on June 23

The first Illinois Race for the Family will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Deer Grove Forest Preserve, 1898 N. Quentin Road, near Palatine. The fundraiser will benefit the Cade Foundation, which provides financial assistance to couples undergoing infertility treatment or pursuing domestic adoption. The event will be hosted by Fertility Centers of Illinois and sponsored by Ferring Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Clifford Law Offices. Participants can take part in a 5K race, 1-mile walk and Savannah’s Playground, a free outdoor festival for children, their parents and caregivers.
