Addison man dies in motorcycle crash
A 29-year-old Addison man was killed in a motorcycle accident in an unincorporated area near Addison early Sunday night, according to police.
The motorcyclist, Adam DeMarco, was headed north on Sixth Avenue when he struck a vehicle traveling west on Holtz Avenue at about 5:20 p.m., according to the DuPage County sheriff’s office.
The roadway is expected to be closed for much of Sunday night as sheriff’s detectives continue their investigation into the accident.
Police said DeMarco was pronounced dead at the scene.
