Little City fashion show benefits developmental disabilities foundations

Chicago’s fashion community and leading philanthropists will gather once again to admire the latest trends unveiled at Little City’s “Runway Exclusive 2012,” a fashion show benefit beginning at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 8, at the Fairmont Chicago in Millennium Park.

Partnering with Michigan Ave. Magazine, Neiman Marcus, Ford Models and ZZAZZ productions, Little City will generate awareness and funds for hundreds of children and adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“During these times, we’re pleased to stage a variety of events and opportunities in a way that provides enjoyment and an opportunity to network,” said Executive Director Shawn E. Jeffers.

“This event helps provide vital and innovative programs and services to the individuals at Little City, and we’re grateful to Neiman Marcus, Ford Models, ZZAZZ productions, Michigan Ave. Magazine and all our sponsors.”

Attendees will enjoy an afternoon reception and silent auction, followed by a luncheon and an inside look at the hottest fashions from Michael Kors, Elie Tahari, Lafayette, David Meister, St. John, Teri Jon, Issa, Diane von Furstenberg and Escada and Lela Rose.

“Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue is honored to be part of this wonderful fundraising event to support Little City in their mission to assist their children and adults,” said Wendy Krimins, Neiman Marcus general manager.

Individual tickets are $150 and include a reception, silent auction, luncheon and seat for the Little City runway show.
