Author visit at Warren-Newport library

Gurnee’s Warren-Newport Public Library will host the author of best-seller “Must Love Dogs” at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 7. Claire Cook, is a former physical education teacher who wrote her first novel at age 45 in a parking lot waiting for her daughter. Five years later, she walked the red carpet with actors John Cusack and Diane Lane at the Hollywood premiere of the film version of “Must Love Dogs.” She will discuss her newest novel, “Wallflower in Bloom,” Books will be available for purchase and signing.
