A thank-you note to our veterans

In this week we celebrate Memorial Day, I’m reminded of the great courage and sacrifices exhibited by America’s armed forces of all eras. I would especially like to thank our World War II veterans. Sadly, these brave men and women are disappearing so quickly now, and I wanted to take this opportunity to warmly thank them for putting their lives on hold from 1941-45 so that we might survive as a nation.

Thank God that in this day and age we still have people who are willing to pay the ultimate price for our freedoms and way of life. Thanks to all who served and to our World War II veterans, I and my family would like to say you are truly our greatest generation!
