Geneva police on Tuesday identified the motorcyclist killed in a Memorial Day accident.

John M. Broderick III, 23, of St. Charles, was killed in the 6:42 p.m. crash on Randall Road at Gleneagle Drive.

Broderick, who was driving a Honda motorcycle, hit the rear of a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox being driven by a 63-year-old Bartlett woman.

Broderick was pronounced dead on the scene, authorities said.

No charges are expected, Geneva police said.

The Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team was assisting with the investigation.
