Hanover Park celebrates Earth Day Thursday

The Hanover Park Park District will hold its annual Kite Fly and Earth Day celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Community Center Softball Fields, 1919 Walnut Ave., Hanover Park.

The free event features an evening of flying kites, games, crafts and food while marking Earth Day and learning about the Park District Youth License Plate that benefits youth programming at park districts.
