Free document shredding event in Des Plaines
Village Bank & Trust, 1545 Ellinwood Ave., Des Plaines, is partnering with Patricia Haugeberg, First Ward Alderman of the City of Des Plaines, to bring a free shredding event to the community. The event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28, will include food, games, raffles and, of course, shredding. People can shred up to two boxes of documents.
