Warn our teens about fake marijuana
The Kane County drug abuse forum that will help parents be more proactive about their kids doing drugs interested me because a lot of parents are in denial that their kid would every try an illegal substance. So many teens have died in drunken driving accidents or even from just smoking marijuana and not thinking fast enough while driving. The synthetic marijuana is sold at tobacco stores, and I believe it should be banned because there are a lot of stories about kids trying it and having a really bad trip. It’s not good for your brain and can cause extreme paranoia.
This article interested me because I truly believe parents should sit down and talk to their kids about what using these substances really does and how harmful they can be to themselves and other people. It should be something that’s further looked into, and parents should sit down and watch the news with their kids. That would show the realities of the teens who are dying every day from stupid mistakes they make while behind the wheel.
The article shows how extreme the problem really is. How does someone just run into a house? How do you not see that? While under the influence of synthetic marijuana, I guess it makes sense that your judgment would be impaired, but I had no idea it would be enough to run into someone’s house.
I think this article is a nice way to inform people that they really should keep an eye out on their kids, and not let them just run wild with no supervision. These articles should be more publicly known so everyone can see the severity of the problem of synthetic marijuana.
