It was a grueling triathlon with intense training and preparation, but no running shoes were required for the "Academic Triathlon" competition that took place recently for 10 private schools at Walther Lutheran High School in Chicago.
St. Peter Lutheran School's fifth- through eighth-grade students competed in the scholarly event and earned "Overall Champion" title in social studies, along with winning high honors in math.
