‘Business of Sports’ topic of April 12 Newsmakers’ Forum

Learn “How to Score with Your Sports Marketing Dollar” at the Daily Herald Business Ledger Newsmakers’ Forum on the Business of Sports April 12.

The forum will be held from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at The Meadows Club, 2950 W. Golf Road, Rolling Meadows. Tickets are $55 and include a buffet lunch.

A panel of experts will discuss strategies in sports marketing, from product, price, place and promotion to how sports can make a difference for your business, as well as other key issues and trends.

Panelists for the event are Jeff Compler, associate vice president and director of athletics for Northern Illinois University; Dan Migala, president of Migala Report; Andy Viano, general manager of the Schaumburg Boomers baseball team; Roger Wexelberg, president and general manager of the Chicago Rush football team; and Matt Starr, sales & marketing director of the Western Golf Association.
