Gillam rolls up her sleeves

I have known Rebecca Gillam as an elected official representing the residents of West Dundee. During her tenure on the village board she has demonstrated that she is willing to take the time necessary to understand all sides of each issue which is presented to her.

This desire to understand issues takes considerable personal time. Ms. Gillam has demonstrated that she is willing to spend the time necessary to pursue the best response for all concerned relative to each issue before her. In order to aid understanding she has already attended more than 40 Kane County Board and subcommittee meetings in order to grasp the issues currently before the county board.

Locally she also has willingly undertaken the role of leadership in West Dundee’s volunteer program. Through this initiative she has organized, led and worked on assisting the village volunteer planting and landscape program. This is indicative of her willingness to roll up her sleeves and get involved in solving problems for the community. I am certain this level of effort will continue as a county board member.

For these reasons I would urge you to join with me and vote for Rebecca Gillam to serve as District 21 representative to the Kane County Board.
