Scheflow is a consensus builder

I am writing this in support of Douglas J. Scheflow, Republican candidate for the Kane County Board District 22.

On March 20, you will go to the polls to select a new board member to represent you in Kane County government. As residents of District 22, you want to be sure that your voice is heard and that your vote will truly count toward better county and state government. Your vote for Doug Scheflow will guarantee that those requirements will be met.

I have known Doug for many years and have been impressed with the way in which he gets people to work together to make projects succeed. In any endeavor, you must “communicate, educate and motivate” those with whom you are working. Doug does just that. I have watched and listened as he works with people with opposing viewpoints and he always helps both sides arrive at the best decision for the common good. I have seen firsthand how he takes leadership roles that no one else wanted. I have seen programs that were failing be completely rejuvenated with fresh, new spirit and energy. All due to his tireless efforts. He is truly a genuine team player who will lead effectively by example.

Doug’s 28 years of successful law practice, his many years of experience working with the Kane County courts and government offices, his long membership in the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce and his community involvement all make Doug the perfect candidate.
