Skala a great school leader ... and more

When I learned that Mike Skala was going to leave the District 158 school board so he could serve on the McHenry County Board, I had mixed feelings. Selfishly, I would like him to stay on the school board. The benefits he has brought to our school community are too numerous to mention, but I know our daughter is getting the best education around and that we are paying less in taxes for this education than any other community in McHenry County.

It is time for Mike Skala to take his experience and expertise to the next level, and residents of McHenry County's 5th District will soon get to see just how hard he works to improve communities. I am voting for Mike Skala for county board and I hope you will, too.
