Chippewa scientists participate in Olympiad

Science Olympiad is a national science competition with many different events. It is an opportunity for students to learn more about science and apply what they already know.

This year’s Chippewa Middle School team, led by Elizabeth Donoghue, participated in events including Forestry, Tower Building, Write It/Do it, Dynamic Planet, Experimental Design, Rocks and Minerals, Bottle Rocket, Disease Detectives, Optics and Road Scholar.

All of the students worked very hard to prepare for their events. Nick Stone and Hannah York placed fourth for Write It/Do It.

Congratulations to the Chippewa Science Olympiad participants.
