Mini-Monster Trucks at Sears Centre today

The Monster Truck Nationals event going on through Saturday at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates features a new twist this year: youngsters in Mini-Monster Trucks.

Three youths — ages 6, 8 and 14 — are on the tour, traveling with the show and driving their mini monster trucks, which are actually just a little larger than an average car. They're called the “The Lil' Mighty Monsters” and they are the world's youngest monster truck drivers. Their Facebook page is at facebook.com/KidKJMonsterTruckRacingTeam.
