Pay bills online at Pingree Grove website

Residents of Pingree Grove can now pay their water bills and parking tickets online on the village's new website, villageofpingreegrove.org, which launched late last week.

The website also allows people to make service requests for just about any issue they are concerned about, such as pothole repair requests or code enforcement issues, Village Administrator Ken Lopez said.

In August, the village entered into a three-year contract with Americaneagle.com, a Park Ridge company that designed and now maintains the website, Lopez said. Instead of paying an upfront design fee, the arrangement calls for the village to pay $500 a month for the duration of the contract, he said.

The website also allow users to search for properties and buildings for sale or for lease in Pingree Grove. “Another key element we didn't have before is a link to valuable commercial properties for the purpose of economic development, so that anyone and everyone can see what is available, ” Lopez said.

Other improved features are news and events listings, easier access to board meeting agendas, and more information about the village's various departments and committees, Lopez said. “We also have ability to add pages and modify pages. It's a process always in evolution; that's a key to any successful website.”

Village trustee Joshua Cossiboon works for Americaneagle.com, which has designed websites for several suburban municipalities including Arlington Heights, Palatine, Glencoe, Villa Park and Western Springs.
