Two masked men — one wearing a paintball mask — robbed a TCF Bank in Rolling Meadows Friday afternoon, authorities said.

The robbery took place about 12:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of Algonquin Road. A weapon was implied but not shown, and one bank employee was assaulted and suffered minor injuries, according to the FBI.

Surveillance photos show one of the suspects jumping onto a teller window counter and later walking near the drive-through teller station.

The suspect in the black paintball mask is described as a male Hispanic, 5’2” to 5’6” tall, with a thin build. He was also wearing a black cap, black jacket, gray pants and black shoes, police said.

The other suspect, wearing a black bandanna on his face, is described as a male Hispanic, 20 to 25 years old, 5’10” to 6’0”, with a medium build. He was wearing a black, puffy winter coat, blue jeans, and black shoes with white soles and was carrying a small black backpack with drawstring.

The FBI and Rolling Meadows Police Department are investigating, and those with information are asked to call the FBI at 312-421-6700.
