Radio: WGN 720-AM

What to watch: Let's see if the Hawks play down to a team below them in the standings for a third straight game. They've lost five in a row and seven straight on the road. The Avs are still without their best player in center Matt Duchene (knee) and having trouble scoring goals. They shut out the Hawks 4-0 in their last meeting on Jan. 6 in Chicago behind Semyon Varlamov, but it's going to be J.S. Giguere starting in goal this time.

Season series: Avs lead 2-1.

Next: San Jose Sharks at HP Pavilion, 9:30 p.m. Friday.
