Two Waukegan men arrested on drug charges

Waukegan police arrested two men on drug charges Thursday after executing search warrants at their residences, authorities said Friday.

Officers seized 2.6 grams of heroin and about $1,250 after executing a warrant on the 800 block of Massena Avenue. They arrested Frank Gordon Jr., 32, and charged him with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Gordon had been wanted on an outstanding drug arrest warrant in Lake County.

Earlier Thursday, police seized 11 grams of crack cocaine, 44.3 grams of cannabis and $188 after executing a search warrant on the 200 block of County Street. Officers arrested Harold E. Davis, 28, and charged him with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and unlawful possession of cannabis.

Both men are being held at the Lake County jail on $100,000 bail.
