Man killed in crash near Elk Grove Village

A 23-year-old Minooka man was killed in a one-vehicle accident near Elk Grove Village Wednesday night when his car crashed into an overhead bridge support on southbound I-290 near Biesterfield Road. An autopsy conducted Thursday determined the victim, Jeremy Fink, died immediately of multiple injuries, a Cook County medical examiner’s office spokesman said. Fink was the sole occupant of the car. Details on the accident weren’t immediately available Thursday afternoon from Illinois State Police.
