Gore, Albright in Schaumburg Wednesday

Former vice president and presidential candidate Al Gore as well as Madeleine Albright, the first woman to serve as U.S. secretary of state, were guest speakers at the CareerBuilder.com company conference Wednesday at the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center, sources said.

The annual conference attracts big names, albeit secretly, to speak to the approximately 1,500 attendees about different styles of leadership and influence.

Speakers in earlier years have included former presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, as well as Gen. Colin Powell and former General Electric CEO Jack Welch.
