Fremont kindergarten preregistration in Mundelein begins

Fremont Elementary School kindergarten preregistration will take place Tuesday, Jan. 10 at Fremont Elementary School, 28908 N. Fremont Center Road, Mundelein.

Last names starting with A-L should arrive at 6 p.m. and last names starting with M-Z should arrive at 7 p.m. Any child five years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2012 is eligible for kindergarten. Bring your child's original birth certificate with the seal on it. A copy will be made and returned.

Parents new to the district or who do not have children currently enrolled in Fremont need to bring two documents proving residency such as a closing document on a home or a driver's license with current address. Also, bring last year's tax bill with the PIN number on it to verify a home is within Fremont boundaries.

Kindergarten preregistration allows parents to choose their preference of morning, afternoon, or tuition-based all day kindergarten. Call Diann Serio (847) 566-0169 ext. 2204 or email dserio@fsd79.org for more information.
